We spotted this excellent restaurant months before our trip to Quito on the internet and made reservations. Our first impression was correct, the ingredients, plate presentation and cooking was a very high level. Zazu is rated one of the best restaurants of Ecuador. We returned a second time in the same week.
We selected the Rock Sole Carpaccio, three combinations of Stone Crab, Wagyu tartar, Galapagos Tuna on lava rock and the filet of sole with shrimps. All dishes were top and the main courses rather large. Restaurant Zazu has our full recommendation.
Wij zagen dit uitstekende restaurant enkele maanden voor onze reis naar Quito op het internet en besloten te reserveren. Onze eerste indruk was correct, de ingrediënten, bord presentatie en hun kookkunst was van hoog niveau. Zazu is één van de beste restaurants in Ecuador. We kwamen er nog een tweede keer in dezelfde week.
We kozen voor zeetong carpaccio, drie combinaties van steencrab, een wagyu tartaar, Galapagos tonijn op lava rots en gebakken tong met garnalen. Alle gerechten waren top en de hoofdschotels redelijk groot. Restaurant Zazu heeft met zekerheid onze aanbeveling.
