BORDALO II, BLUE and BJØRN..
9:07 AM
Stavanger Daily Photo
The Portuguese artist BORDALO II has made this huge big deers-head using just trash!
(Click on the image to enlarge.)
Todays models, are BLUE & BJØRN, both living in Stavanger. She is from Thailand, and I don't understand how she could cope so well, and also better than me, on a freezing day like today! Her friend is from Sunnmøre, further north and used to the type of weather we have here on the western coast of Norway.
Nice meeting you two!

SMUGET.

SMUGET a nightclub for 18 year olds (and older people) have struggled in 2016.
Not smart to let young people age 17 in and let them buy alcohol.
Well, the newspapers have been writing about the place, and I guess there will be lots of young people who will miss the place that are now CLOSED.

Sjoborg Leirvik.

I don't know who they were or what they were doing this afternoon.
But it looked like they had fun, so if it was work they must have had a jolly good day!
I zoomed in and found the name "Sjoborg Leirvik", and thanks to google I found out that they might work on the offshore supply ship from the Faeroe Island.
Anyway, on the way out of Vågen the speed went up, and on a grey day like this it was also great to see some splash of bright colour.

ENGØY & BUØY.
1:11 PM
Stavanger Daily Photo
The two small islands ENGØY and BUØY have connections via the city bridge over to the city and southern part of our region. The people living here must be lucky to see the city from the seaside and all types of boats passing out in the fjord! At Engøy they have a centre that boasts a large collection of old wooden boats, some of which are in use.
One day I hope to go and see it.
At the back you see the water tower at Buøy.
There are lots of houses here and it used to be a big and busy place for industry.
Happy weekend!!

I don't know how many people have real trees, plastic trees or no trees....
What do you prefer?
This tree is from some friends living room, and they had a very pretty tree.
Many of the trees that are on offer here, are actually from Denmark, one salesman told me.
