Walking away from the more touristic port area of Barcelona towards the cruises and industrial area, you pass a giant roundabout. Here is a small park and start the graffiti walls. The area is almost deserted.
Most of the paintwork is abstract but there are a few interesting images. The colors are bright and contradictory to the neighborhood. We do not recommend to walk here during evening hours. Many homeless people and drug users were hanging around. Even in the afternoon, you could feel the tension in the air. Just a few more shots and we returned quickly to the more crowded district.
Wegwandelend uit de toeristische haven van Barcelona naar de cruise en meer industriële kant, passeer je een enorm rondpunt. Hier is een klein park en beginnen de graffiti muren. Het gebied ligt er verlaten bij.
Het meeste schilderwerk is abstract maar toch vind je er enkele interessante afbeeldingen. De kleuren zijn helder, in tegenstelling met de donkere buurt. We raden aan hier niet 's avonds te komen. Er hangen hier veel daklozen en drugsgebruikers rond. Zelfs in de namiddag kon je de spanning voelen. Nog enkele foto's en dan snel terug naar het minder afgelegen gebied.
